In Andrews’s early life he started off poor and couldn’t go to school, to help his famliy make money he worked in a boiler room and then later he worked as a messager and he memorized the streets he delivered so he wouldn’t have to figure it out every time.
Elon’s early life was much different then Andrews’s, he got to go school but well he was in school he got bullied a lot tell he was 15 and then he learned to defend himself.
Carnegie started in a boiler room then he went to work as a messager and met Thomas A. Scott, who he started working with to build railroads and the sleeping car, after he worked in railroads he kept making investments and working in many different things along the lines of oil and bridges and his steal company which is what made him very successful.
Elon gained his wealth from his company’s, zip2, PayPal, and tesla motors and SpaceX. When Elon was 17 he moved to Canada to go to Queen’s University so he didn’t have to be in the military, then later he left Canada and went to Pennsylvania to study business and physics to get his degree. Elon made his first company with his brother zip2 which he later sold and became a multimillionaire when he was in his 20s, he kept working hard and became very successful with all of his company’s and he still is.
Carnegie always wanted to give back to society so he would always give to charity, he would fund library’s across the world and give to the poor, he had donated at least 350 million dollars because he was once someone who had nothing and he didn’t want people to live as he had to so he gave them money, he believed in the gospel of wealth where people who are wealthy should give their money away.
Elon musk donates to projects in order to make a better and improved education, his recent donation was 15 million for a project for people to get an education they need and education.
Carnegie had a very positive legacy even though he made some mistakes, he tried to help people as much as he could and give back as much as he could because he thought that rich people should give to the poor.
Elon’s legacy has given us new technology and he gives back so people can learn and have a good education. Elon musk and Andrew Carnegie are not that different the only thing that is different is Elon grew up a little wealthier then Carnegie but their legacy had a very positive impacted on everyone and as brought a lot.
